There are many options available in the Berth Planner for setting up the berth portion of your model. Many of these options have default values so that you can quickly create a basic model. This topic explains the most basic steps required to complete the Berth Planner. Step-by-Step Explanation - Add a [Berth Planner](BerthPlanner.html) object to the model.  - Go to the [Berth Layout](Berth_Layout.html) tab. - Drag berth points onto the berth layout view. - Add cranes by clicking the New Crane button.  - Go to the [Hatch Profiles](Hatch_Profiles.html) tab. - Click Add Row to create additional rows in the hatch operations table. - Click in each of the Operation cells in the table and select a series of operations (e.g., start with a Setup, then a Discharge, and then a Load).  - Go to the [Services](Services.html) tab. - Click on a hatch profile under Available Hatch Profiles and click the  button one or more times to add that hatch to the service.  - Go to the [Ship Schedule](Ship_Schedule.html) tab. - Click and drag services from the Services list onto the weekly schedule.
