                            # 47.41\. `pg_shdescription`

`pg_shdescription`為共享數據庫對象存儲可選的注釋。 可以使用[COMMENT](#calibre_link-690)命令操作注釋的內容，使用 psql的`\d`命令查看注釋內容。

[`pg_description`](#calibre_link-685)提供了類似的功能， 它記錄了單個數據庫中對象的注釋。

不同于大多數系統表，`pg_shdescription`是在集群里面所有的數據庫之間共享的： 每個數據庫集群只有一個`pg_shdescription`，而不是每個數據庫一個。
