1967年，荷蘭著名電影導演路易（Louis?Van?Gasteren）來美拉巴德拍有關美赫巴巴的電影。他的太太看他整天口不離巴巴，有點嫉妒，也不像路易那樣愛巴巴。有一天，路易的太太跟巴巴的女門徒坐在遠處，看路易拍攝巴巴為麻風病人洗腳。

她突然心有所動，輕聲對身邊的瑪妮說：“他是個善人。”
