1926年1月，有個瑜伽師從Pathardi來美拉巴德，試圖考驗考驗巴巴。他從前是個律師，通過瑜伽修行而成為古魯，有一大批跟隨者，頗為自命不凡。達善之后，他坐在巴巴對面，說想問巴巴一些靈性問題，巴巴同意回答他的所有問題。他又說由于很多人在場，為了保密，他希望把問題寫出來。巴巴也同意了。

有人遞給瑜伽師一個寫字板，他開始寫。與之同時，巴巴也開始在另一個寫字板上寫。瑜伽師寫完問題之后，把寫字板遞給巴巴，巴巴也同時把自己的寫字板遞給瑜伽師。瑜伽師的表面自負徹底崩潰！在巴巴的寫字板上，是對瑜伽師的全部問題的答案，甚至瑜伽師尚未寫完最后一個問題，巴巴就已經寫出了答案。巴巴以這句話結束了會見：“這只是兒戲而已！我的深度，你永遠不能測量！”
